Standard and Application:
The probe is designed to verify compliance with IEC 60335-2-14 Clause 20.102, specifically targeting the safety requirements for hand-held blender blades. The test rod features a diameter of 8.0 mm ± 0.1 mm and unlimited length. During testing, the rod is applied from any position between the vertical direction and a 45° angle relative to the upper side of the blending blade. A passing result requires that the end of the test rod cannot touch the rotating blades—ensuring the blade’s protective screening meets safety standards and prevents user injury.
